I'm an enthusiastic and passionate maths teacher with more than 15 years experience teaching in local primary and secondary schools and a former Head of Maths at St Piran's School, Maidenhead.

My aim is to build your child's confidence in maths. By working one-to-one, I can tailor my tutoring to your child, considering their specific needs and learning styles. I have a thorough understanding of the requirements of the National Curriculum and current best practice in maths teaching. This means that I can help your child with the methods that they are learning at school and where appropriate I will also use practical maths resources to help their understanding. I aim to make my tutoring sessions fun and engaging for my pupils, to nurture a "can do" positive attitude to maths.

I have extensive experience teaching and tutoring neurodiverse students (including those with ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia) and students with SEMH and EBSA.
Education:
BA (Hons) Natural Sciences (University of Cambridge, Churchill College)
QTS (Graduate Teacher Programme, University of Reading, Institute of Education)
I have an Enhanced DBS Certificate.
